Artists Statement:

I work predominantly in an oil based medium on multi-sized wood surfaces. My paintings embody power, emotion, and directness of expression. Focusing primarily on the figure and the landscape, my creativity involves expressive body movement, similar to a ritualistic dance. To me the ultimate element in my work is truth; truth only exists in the presence. My passionate gesture approach brings me back into the presence, and is therefore my way of rediscovering Who I Am.
